Welcome

Lake on the Mountain is a magical place. A motor-free lake, it is nestled almost 200 feet above the waters of nearby Lake Ontario. In the summer, loons, heron and fish abound. In the winter, wolves can be seen crossing the ice.

How was it created? How deep is it? Where does the water come from? No one really knows. What we do know is that the aboriginal Mohawks revered the lake as “Onokenoga” or “Lake of the Gods”.

We invite you to join us as our guests at our luxury Bed & Breakfast and to share the magic of the Lake.
